Here are the questions I’ve been chosen to answer…

1). What does your blog name mean?
The name for my blog has a funny little story behind it, try and make sense of it if you can! One of my favourite artists is Childish Gambino, who got his rap name by typing his real name (Donald Glover) into the Wu-Tang Name Generator and in turn, the name Childish Gambino was born. Lana Del Rey is the love of my life and my favourite person to ever exist, she completely captures my  soul and everything that I am as a person, I connect to her on a level that I can’t find in anything else. I typed her name into the generator and beautifully, Midnight Wanderer was born. This isn’t just any old name though, if you know me personally you’ll know that both the words midnight and wanderer have extremely significant meanings to me, especially the word wander / wandering / wanderer, so it was surreal that my favourite name in the world would generate two of my most significant words in the world. It captures who I am perfectly and couldn’t have been a better match, it’s funny how things turn out.

2). If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be?
I’ve thought about this question before and for me, there’s two ways I would go about it. If we were talking generally, I’d be Ariana Grande for the day because she’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen with the voice of an angel. I’d love to swish around all day with my high ponytail singing every song from Yours Truly up to Dangerous Woman. On the other hand, if I wanted to be someone for experience I would probably be Audrey Hepburn because she was such an incredible and beautiful woman, and to experience her life for the day would be an honour. Or I would be Marilyn Monroe so I could really understand her and how she felt, I adore her and I believe she was extremely misunderstood when she was alive and was never treated with the kindness or respect even, that she deserved. I would love to be her for a day just to know how she felt and what she was thinking.

3). What’s the last topic you journaled about?
It was last night actually, a Thursday evening. I wrote about serenity and peacefulness, and how young I felt at heart. Maybe I’ll post it sometime.

4). If you could live in a book, which would it be?
My favourite book in the whole entire world is All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, never in my life have I read something so powerful and excruciatingly heartbreaking that I felt like I’d had an outer body experience and was feeling things from a different universe. I will never be able to explain the effect this book had on me, it haunts me and if I ever could have written anything, it would have been this. I think maybe I did write that book in a parallel universe because if my soul was put into words, it would be bleeding through the pages of All The Bright Places. If I could live in a book it would be this, because I would save myself and everyone else, and I would be a bright place.

5). What is your favourite scent?
My favourite scent is Alien by Thierry Mugler because it’s so other worldly and when I smell it my eyes roll back into another universe. I’m kidding, but not really. It’s gorgeous, I feel like if I was born with a scent it would have been this one, it’s just me. You know? I never wear anything else.

6). What’s one word to describe your best friend?
If I could use one word to describe her it would be Paradise, because that’s exactly what she is.

7). How many drafts are saved in your WordPress?
22 and counting, you can never have too many drafts! Drafts are my saviour. If you’re going to be grateful for something today, be grateful for drafts.

8). How many makeup brushes do you own?
Too many to count, I’m one of those girls that owns a lot of makeup brushes but only actually uses about 5 or 6. I have cases of brushes that have never been opened and some of them I don’t want to use and ruin because they’re so soft and fluffy. I can’t win!

9). Where are you sitting right now?
On the sofa with my doggo, he’s asleep and he’s got his head resting on the laptop so I’m finding it hard to type but I don’t want to move and disturb him. I’d rather die of dehydration than go and get a drink if it meant having to disturb my pup from his sleep. I’m that dog owner. He’s just so precious.

10). Who do you admire the most?
A lot of people, I admire my best friend for being the most selfless, beautiful angel I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and sharing my life with. I admire Ariana Grande for being a wonderful role model and an incredible, powerful woman. I admire Harry Styles for being my role model since I was 12 years old (I’m 19 now) and showing me that love is always the answer, even when the world is cruel. I admire a lot of people and I’m really lucky to look up to the people that I do, I chose the right ones.

11). What’s the last fun thing you did?
I went car shopping and test drove some models! It’s the first car that I’m buying and paying for completely by myself, so it’s a super fun and exciting experience and I am soo eager to get going!
