A New Look Haul ✨

I don’t normally do posts like these but thought it would be something a little different – I saw that New Look were having a sale the other day and I’d just been paid so naturally…I ended up going on a bit of a spending spree and I thought I’d show you everything I bought! Enjoy .xx

Golden Bee Choker – £1.50

I swear this is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen – I’m an absolute sucker for dainty gold jewellery and I love bees so naturally, I had to get this. It’s so beautiful and I haven’t taken it off since I got it, it also goes with all of my other gold chokers and jewellery. So 10/10 for this one, save the bees

 

The best jumper I’ve ever purchased – £8.00

I don’t really know what colour this is hence why I haven’t included it in the title, it’s kind of like a browny / yellowy colour but it looks more brown in this photo (the product description says corn yellow…). The second I saw it I knew I had to have it as it’s literally me all over, if I was a jumper I’d be this one. It’s a tiny bit cropped but also baggy and it’s the perfect fit, it’s also the softest material I’ve ever worn, it’s kind of like furry cotton….if that’s a thing. Anyway, 10/10 for the best jumper I’ve ever seen.

 

Succulent – £2.50

I couldn’t resist buying this, I love plants & succulents, my bedroom is literally filled with them. This is a fake one in a super pretty white pot so not only does it look perfect, it also doesn’t need any looking after & will never die! I feel like if you’re not very good at looking after plants and keeping them alive, fake succulents are the way forward.

 

Floral Embroidered Shacket – £8.00

What in the world is a shacket I hear you ask ?? Same girl. Same. Maybe it’s just me but I had to Google what the hell a shacket was, as I’d never heard of one in my life. It’s a shirt and a jacket apparently, but to me this is just a jacket. You can wear it buttoned up like a shirt but personally I wouldn’t recommend doing that as the material is quite stiff and I feel as though you’d look like you were wearing a uniform if you get what I mean. Anyway, I really love this as it goes with practically everything and I’m super into denim jackets anyway, my blue Levi one never leaves my being. Catch me in the bath wearing it. I’m kidding (but not really). This one has some cute flowers embroidered near the collar and also some on the back (see pic below), it’s really casual and something you can throw on easily over most things – I got it in a size up as I like my jackets baggy and this one does the job perfectly.

Ribbed Culotte PJs – £11.00

Are these the ugliest pair of pyjamas you’ve ever seen ?? Yeah. Is that the whole reason I bought them?? You got it. Apparently I’ve got a thing for weird colours at the minute because again, I’ve no idea what these are. The product description says green but I disagree, they’re kind of like a nuclear, browny, yellowy, green colour. To look at them literally hurts my eyes. The second I saw them I was like wow, they’re the ugliest things I’ve ever seen. I need to buy them. You know when something looks so weird that it looks good, yeah. I’m into that at the minute. The bottoms are 10 sizes too big for me so it looks like I’m wearing a tent but I’m working on it, I thought my problem was solved when I saw there was a draw string on them but it’s actually just two tassels and not actually something you can use to tighten them, it was like the fake pocket situation all over again. Anyway, these aren’t actually the ugliest things I’ve ever seen, I just thought the colour was gross and loved it.

 

Pink Wide Leg Trousers – £10.00

I really like the colour of these, I’m trying to step out of my comfort zone a bit lately and buy things that I wouldn’t necessarily normally purchase. I always look at other people wearing things and think wow, they look amazing, I wish I could pull that off. So, I thought I’d give it a try. Normally I just stick to jeans and skirts, I’m not really a trouser person but I love the whole wide-leg trend that’s going around at the moment and so thought I’d give it a go and I actually really like it! I tried these on and they made me look taller (keeping in mind I’m 5 foot) and they also made my bum look good, so I’m basically a catfish in these trousers.

 

Print Lace 2 in 1 Cami Top – £5.00

I loooooove lovelove this trend at the moment. You can literally do it with anything, even wearing mesh dresses over tops and jeans. I have a lot of lace sets like these so couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy this one and I really love it, the only downside is that the cami top is too big for the t-shirt (you can see from the photo how long the straps are!) and because of this, the cami doesn’t start until way past my boobs which just makes the whole thing look weird – originally I thought that was the idea because obviously there’s writing on the top, but looking at the pictures of the model wearing it hers is normal and so I realised this wasn’t actually the intent. Anyone else have this problem ?? With 90% of these sets that I own I find the shirt underneath fits perfectly but the cami on top is too big and just kind of hangs off me. Not a fan. I’ve started buying them both separately now and luckily that works, but I thought I’d give the beloved cami set one last try and unfortunately it hasn’t changed my mind, I’m going to tie the straps on this one and just bear it.

 

Blue Frill Trim Cold Shoulder Top – £8.00

First of all I apologise for the creases in this, I haven’t actually worn it yet. I think these kind of tops are really pretty but 99% of the colours I don’t like and so I’ve never bought one, when I saw this I really liked the colour and could see it going with a lot of things and so into my shopping basket it went, these tops are elegant but also airy which I really like. The only problem with this one is that the straps are too big for me and so just slide down my shoulders, so if I was to wear it it’d just look like an off the shoulder top with no straps, which I don’t mind.

 

Mink Mesh 2 in 1 Cami Top – £5.00

I love tops like these, I have a similar one like it and thought…one more won’t hurt. It’s super flowy but also really stylish and I can pair this with a lot of stuff – I also like these kind of tops because I have tattoos on my arms and I can still wear long sleeved things but show them off too! I think these will also go really nice with the pink trousers I bought as well.
