I was nominated by Amy over on Rural Roses whose blog I absolutely love, she always has interesting post ideas and I love how simplistic yet professional her blog looks!

I was also nominated by Erin who is absolutely gorgeous and has the most aesthetically pleasing posts ever, I always look forward to reading them!

3 things about myself…

1). I always read the last line of a book before I start it.

2). I’m obsessed with the aesthetic of avocados…yes, you heard that right. The avocado aesthetic is a thing.

3). Elephants are my favourite animal and I bought a giant plush one the other day, it’s the size of a small child.

Which fictional place would you most like to visit?
Bone Gap as it’s set in Laura Ruby’s Bone Gap (since it is actually a real place).

Who is your favourite author and what is your favourite book of theirs?
My favourite author is Jennifer Niven and my favourite book of hers is All The Bright Places.

If you had to give a 30 minute presentation on a topic, with no preparation allowed, what would your topic be?
Self love and confidence, even though I may not have it 100% nailed it myself yet, I feel like I have a lot to say on it.

What is your favourite snack to eat while watching a movie?
Chocolate…

Does pineapple go on pizza?
No. Under any circumstances. If you disagree then we can’t be friends.

Erin’s Questions…♡

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?
Australia! I won’t bore you with the details as I’ve answered this question a million times before and you guys are probably sick of hearing me talk about it hahaha

What is the one piece of clothing in your wardrobe that you couldn’t live without?
My black skinny jeans or my Levi denim jacket, as boring as it sounds I literally wear them with everything and I feel like I’d be lost without them!

What is your fav makeup brand?
Ooh that’s a hard one, I’m always doing different makeup looks and experimenting but I don’t generally pay attention to the brands I use (apart from checking they’re all cruelty free of course), in my eyes, if it does the job it does the job. Why am I going to pay £40 for a popular branded eyeshadow palette when I can get exactly the same thing for £4 on something that isn’t branded? I think my favourite brand would be Anastasia Beverly Hills because their dip brow pomade is the best (and only) thing I use on my eyebrows and I don’t know what I’d do without it.

If you could be one fictional character or a celebrity for a day, who would you be?
Either Ariana Grande because she’s my favourite person ever and I’d give anything to look & sound like her, or Vanessa Hudgens because she’s gorgeous and she’s dating Austin Butler…need I say more.

What accomplishment are you really proud of?
I’m not really too sure actually, which is kinda sad. There’s been plenty of things in my life that I’ve accomplished but nothing is really standing out to me at the moment, I guess I’d say in general just getting by every day and being strong, picking myself up and getting on with life etc. you know? Being my own best friend.

Sophie’s Questions…♡

What’s your favourite season?
My favourite season is Winter because my birthday and Christmas are both in this season and I generally just love being able to wrap up warm and layer all of my clothes – I love big coats and scarves and chunky boots and just the whole fashion sense of winter is my favourite, everything is so stylish but cosy so I love whenever the season comes around. I also love the dark nights and the cold because everything is so cosy and you can light candles, drink hot chocolate, snuggle up indoors and read a book etc. It’s the best.

What is your go to thing that makes you happy? Could be materialistic or not
My dog! I could literally be having the worst day ever and he’ll always make me smile again.

How do you edit posts? Do you write them on your phone or desktop?
My desktop for sure hahah, I could never do it on my phone! If I have notes to make I’ll use the notes app on my phone though.

What’s your goal for having a blog?
I’m not sure really, I think just to share my thoughts and to meet other likeminded people, I honestly can’t think of anything better than that! If I could reach out to a larger audience that would be amazing too, but if I only inspire / help one person with my words, that’s absolutely enough for me.

What do you enjoy doing on your weekends?
First and foremost, I enjoy having a lie in – not having to get up to an alarm on Saturdays and Sundays is my favourite thing ever, I enjoy seeing friends, catching up on Youtube, working on blogposts, going out for food and just generally getting to chill out!

What is something you are loving to watch at the moment?
Stranger Things 2!! I love Stranger Things so much, I’m absolutely addicted, it’s my favourite ever.

What is your favourite memory from this summer?
Hmm, I’m not sure actually! I think maybe going to Tenerife.

Do you own something that you will treasure forever?
I own a lot of my best friend’s things which I’ll obviously treasure forever, and then things from when I was younger which I’ll always keep as well!

Who is someone you would most like to meet and why?
Harry Styles or Lana Del rey, they’re both the absolute loves of my life and mean more to me than I could explain.

What do you love the most about blogging?
I love having somewhere to share my thoughts, feelings and hopefully inspire and be inspired, I love being able to create something that I can share with others and I love being able to meet likeminded people!
