a little christmas tag ❄️

Hi angels,

I got nominated to do this Christmas tag by the lovely Indy and I thought it would be a nice little way to close off the Christmas posts, ready for 2018! So without further ado, here are the Christmas questions…

Do you like Christmas?
Yes! Who doesn’t?! It really is true what they say, it’s the most wonderful time of the year…

What do you enjoy most about Christmas?
I think the excitement building up to it, the decorations, the festivity, the music, the whole Christmas spirit – it’s all so heart warming and such a lovely thing to be a part of.

Do you travel at Christmas or stay at home?
I’ve never travelled for Christmas because I’ve never had to go anywhere! My family all live pretty local so we don’t need to go far, we either all go out for dinner together on Christmas day or we stay at home, this year we all went for dinner together!

Do you send out Christmas cards?
I do, but I often forget because I’m pretty rubbish at things like that!

Do you go to any Christmas parties?
Nope, I actually can’t remember the last Christmas party I went to, I’m not sure if people even still have those around here anymore?!

Do you decorate your house?
Yes! We put lights on the front of our house and in our back garden, and then we have our Christmas tree and little lights / decorations around the rest of the house!

What tops your tree?
An angel! Can’t remember if we’ve ever had a star, I think it’s been an angel for as long as I can remember!

When do you put up your Christmas tree?
Normally at the beginning of December but there’s never a specific day, it’s usually just on a weekend when we have time!

How long do you leave your decorations up for?
Not really too sure of this either (I should probably start paying more attention), I think it’s usually sometime in the first week of January.

Which do you prefer, giving or receiving presents?
Giving! 100%. I always go overboard on present buying because I just get so excited, I love buying people things anyway so Christmas is just another excuse for me to go all out on it, the look on someone’s face when you give them something they’ve been wanting is just the best feeling to me, I love making other people happy and seeing their faces light up is just the best thing ever.

When and how did you learn about Santa Claus?
Weird story actually and I’m not sure how old I was – maybe 8/9? My dad owed me a favour for something (hahahaha) and I was like okay, I wanna use this favour to ask you if Santa is real…and then he told me!

What’s your favourite thing to eat during the Christmas holidays?
Everything?? Is that an answer? Literally, what don’t I eat at Christmas? The food and drink at this time of year is just too good to miss out on, I couldn’t possibly pick a favourite!
