Anonymous’ Questions…

Describe a cringe moment you wish you could wipe from your brain
I love and hate questions like these because my whole life is practically a cringe moment, my existence is an ongoing cringe crisis.

Just kidding (but not really). I have so many embarrassing stories but whenever I get asked the question “tell us your most embarrassing moment” my mind goes completely blank and I can’t think of a single one, which is why I hate this question! I honestly can’t think, a lot of them happened when I was younger (which relieves me knowing I haven’t had any recently) but they were things I probably wanted to die at at the time. We’ve all had them! I will say though, I always want to shrivel into a hole and die whenever someone waves at me and I wave back only then to realise they weren’t actually waving at me or if someone says something that I think is directed towards me so I answer, only to find they were speaking to someone else…

Do you think life has a meaning? If so, what is it?
My answer for this could go so many different ways as this is such a broad question but, I think the meaning of life is whatever you want it to be. What were you put on this Earth to do? Whatever that is, that’s the meaning of your life. It can be as big as ending world hunger or as simple as being your Mum’s best friend. They’re all valid and equally as meaningful as each other.

What is your favorite book and why?
My favourite book in the whole entire world is All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, never in my life have I read something so powerful and excruciatingly heartbreaking that I felt like I’d had an outer body experience and was feeling things from a different universe. I will never be able to explain the effect this book had on me, it haunts me and if I ever could have written anything, it would have been this. I think maybe I did write that book in a parallel universe because if my soul was put into words, it would be bleeding through the pages of All The Bright Places.

What are 3 movie or TV characters that you would either A. fight, B. befriend, or C. date ?
I hardly watch any TV shows or movies so my choices for this are a bit limited but, I’d date Rich from Skins, I’d befriend Tate from AHS and I’d fight Cal from Titanic (Rose’s fiancé who tries to stop her and Jack from being together) because let’s be honest, fiancé or not – he was a jealous and controlling asshole, Leo was 100000x better.

Update: I’ve started to watch a lot more TV since I first answered this so now my answers are…

I’d fight the Demogorgon (Stranger Things), befriend Cheryl Blossom Riverdale (lowkey love her) and date Chuck Bass, ’cause I feel like that’d be interesting…

Why did you start a blog?
I started my blog because I wanted somewhere to share my thoughts, feelings and hopefully inspire and be inspired, I had a lot of things to say but nowhere to say it – there were a lot of stories I wanted to tell, a lot of memories I wanted to share and a lot of magic I wanted to create. I wanted to make something that I could share with others and show people like, look at what I did! I wanted to start something new and to start something for myself so, here I am.

State an unlikely fact about yourself
I don’t know if this is unlikely but I have 10 piercings and 4 tattoos – I feel like reading that you probably think of some rocker with metal all over their face (or is that just me) but that’s not what I look like! Hahah.

What are 3 songs that everyone needs to hear in their life?
Purple Rain by Prince, Sign Of The Times by Harry and Dreams by Fleetwood Mac.

What is a quote that inspires you?
You are not measured by how people react to you.

Describe a happy moment in your life, and explain why it was happy for you.
Probably the day I got my doggo! I was 15 and had wanted one ever since I could say the word, so it was the most exciting day of my life and it’s always such a happy memory for me. I felt like I was dreaming!

What is your favorite food?
Is potato a weird thing to answer for this? You can do so much with them and they’re pretty much all I eat, I’ll probably turn into one at some point.

What is your favorite quote that you return to again and again?
SAVE THE BEES 🐝 does that count?

How’s your day today?
Okay thank you! It’s Friday when I’m writing this and I’m off work today ’cause I had lip fillers yesterday and have decided to stay inside until the bruising goes down hahaha – I also got Demi Lovato tickets this morning!!

What’s your favourite weather and why?
Winter is my favourite season but my favourite weather is either rain when you’re inside and cosy, or a light Spring day.

What’s your favourite song at the moment?
Either Unforgettable by Zhavia (cover) or Fools by Madison Beer – both amazing songs.

How do you enjoy your favourite drink?
I don’t even know what my favourite drink is hahah! Either a diet coke with ice (boring I know) or peach schnapps with lemonade (and ice, of course).

What’s one thing you can’t live without?
The internet, and I don’t mean for social media purposes. I just use it a lot to educate myself and read up on things or to research things – it’s invaluable!

What’s your current obsession?
BTS. Post incoming.

Any life hack you can share?
Learn not to take anything personally!

What’s one of your favourite posts you’ve written recently?
Recently it would probably be why long hair doesn’t equal beauty.

What is your favourite hobby and why?
Blogging! Honestly, I love it so much and don’t know what I’d do without it. It’s enabled me to meet so many amazing people and really share my writing and express myself freely and fully. I’m so grateful for it.
