Hi loves,

Quick ramble – there really isn’t much point to this post and the only reason I’m making it is because I have a blog post for all of my tattoos so, I couldn’t miss this one out because then I’d have a tattoo ‘explanation’ missing but there really isn’t much to explain about this one so it doesn’t need a post of its own but I didn’t want to include it in my last tattoo post as that needed a whole explanation by itself so I didn’t want to mention this one in there because it would’ve been super random but anyway the only reason I’m turning this into a post is because I have to follow my theme of having blog posts for all of my tattoos and I couldn’t randomly miss this one out even though it’s tiny and there’s not really a fat lot to say about it but anyway enjoy and sorry this is so short.

And breathe.

(it’s still healing which is why it looks blurry)

Age = 21
Placement =
 Inside right arm
Pain = 7
/10 (I’m not kidding I’ve no idea why it was that painful this has never happened before)
Price = I got 2 tats at this appointment & altogether it was £40

So, this tattoo was inspired by Lana and Harry – Lana has an ‘M’ initial tattooed on her hand that I’ve always really loved and Harry has the initials G and A on his shoulders to represent his mum and sister. I wanted something to represent my Nan’s name and so I decided to get her initial on the inside of my right arm above my just ride tattoo. I kind of have a theme for my tattoos in the sense that when I have an idea for one I know which side of my body it’s going to go on – for example my left arm is for bigger, artier pieces that I try and fit together in the hopes that I’ll eventually end up creating a sleeve with them and my right arm is for more personal, bitty tattoos that I kind of just put wherever I see fit and so naturally the M went on my right arm. The font was difficult to choose because I knew what I wanted but it didn’t exist in a font and I didn’t want to draw it myself so we kind of just ended up tweaking it as I saw fit, but it turned out perfect. I’m quite particular about my tattoos and with bigger pieces I always let my artist have pretty much free rein with my ideas but with smaller tattoos everything must be exactly as I imagined it which is annoying because it takes approximately 93843 tries before I’m happy with everything. Anyway, this turned out exactly how I wanted it and it’s in the perfect spot so I’m really pleased, it looks super cute.

All my love,

Chloe .xx

    LOVE THIS ONE! And I really like that you don’t just accept the first design (a lot of my friends are too shy to say anything and they end up being unhappy with the result) because it’s YOUR tattoo, YOUR body and YOUR vision. Of course it should be perfect in your eyes. xx

      Ahhh thank you !! I’ve done that before where I’ve kind of just gone “oh…yeah that’ll do” because I don’t want to be picky but at the end of the day it’s like…this is going to be on my body forever, why am I settling for something I don’t want?! xx

    You need to stop posting about all your tattoos because now I really want to get another tattoo!!! Luckily for me I am really picky with tattoos (I only have one despite my weekly ideas of tattoos) otherwise I would definitely be covered head to toe by now! Not that that is a bad thing but I can be impulsive and I don’t want to end up regretting a tattoo. xx

      Hahaha I’m on a rampage at the moment, I literally have them booked left right and centre 😩 it’s getting out of hand. Very smart move though !! It’s always good to check and double check since tattoos are VERY permanent 👀xxx

    I love love love this! Every one of your tattoos is so lovely and precious and I always enjoy reading your thought process behind each one. Also, this is a funny coincidence but I went to New York yesterday and in a bookstore, I found a book that I just have to read called M Train by Patti Smith (no clue why I’m explaining it because I feel like you probably know about it!) but it’s just so strange how our blog posts always seem to resonate with each other one way or another! Lovely post as always, Chloe ❤

      I think sometimes you just have to trust in your decision and maybe (I’m guessing this is your first tattoo) get something that’s meaningful to you first and that way you know you won’t regret it – I think that’s always a good place to start !! xx
