Welcome to part 3 of my signed Kpop album haul! I’ve had these albums for a while now but I’m trying to space out the posts because otherwise there’d be a new one every week at the rate I’m buying them (rip my bank account). I told you this was going to turn into a series because I’m addicted and have no self control. Somebody please send help.

Focus Signed Promo Album

Yugyeom I’m so sorry sweetie

So, here’s a story. As you all know, GOT7 own my ass and so when they decided to put JB and Yugyeom in a sub unit to make some more music and keep us all fed I was a very happy girl. Long story short, I was waiting for them to release signed versions of the Focus album because it was the perfect opportunity for them and in my eyes there was no way they were going to not do it. But guess what?

They didn’t do it.

So after a month of waiting for them to give us signed albums, I came to terms with the fact my prayers were just going to go unanswered, until one day when…

I logged on to see one of my Kpop sellers selling 3 signed promo versions of the album.

The money was out of my bank account and in her hands faster than you could say give me the album. I’d been waiting for it and suddenly my saviour had arrived with all the answers. There were 3 albums to choose from and luckily no one had bought one yet so I got first pick and I chose the one that came with a Yugyeom poster and 2 Yugyeom photo cards (because I’d die for him let’s be honest) so basically, I was now the happiest girl on the planet.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again but JYP do my favorite versions of albums ever, I love the A4 thing with the photo booklets and the sleeves and the posters and just wow, yes. Every piece of GOT7 discography out there is everything I love, well done JYP.

I guess it’s true that good things really do come to those who wait because I was waiting for them to release some signed versions and they didn’t, but then I got something even better in the form of a signed promo version with the poster and photocards I wanted. Basically, thank you universe for answering my prayers. Love u.

Miroh Signed Mini Album (Miroh ver.)

So I bought this pretty much the second they went on sale even though I didn’t really know what I was buying and that kids…

is why I ended up with the wrong album.

Not the wrong album per say, just the wrong version. There’s two versions of this album and my dumbass bought the wrong one, but I’m blaming it on Stray Kids anyway because they should’ve been more clear with their descriptions. In this essay I will –

Kidding. Obviously. But basically there’s a black and white version of this album (the one I wanted) and a neon green / colour version of this album (the one I didn’t want because I don’t like the colours) and even though I double, triple, QUADRUPLE checked which version I was buying before I bought it…I still bought the wrong one anyway, which is just my luck. Like I said, I bought it the second they went on sale and Kpop does this thing where when you’re buying an album, they don’t show you what’s in the album because they want it to be a surprise so they just blur everything out which means you have no idea what you’re buying, and even though I Googled it a million times (to no avail, may I add) I was sure I was buying the b&w version and so you can imagine the look on my face when it finally arrived and I was presented with…neon green.

Anyway, I’m over it, it’s cool. I think it was one of those things where I selected the right version but probably ended up refreshing the page at some point meaning it defaulted back to the other version and then I bought it and didn’t check which version was in my basket because I thought I’d already selected the right version. It’s happened to me before (with another Kpop item, actually, so I’m probably cursed).

Anyway, back to SKZ. This is their latest album, Miroh (it’s been out for a while now because like I said, I bought these albums months ago but have been holding out on the posts because I don’t wanna bombard you all) and this is a single member-signed version. SKZ do this really annoying thing with their albums where they sign the CD rather than the actual cover – this one is from Mwave and every time they do a signed Mwave release they never sign on the front of the album (which is what basically everyone else does) and instead they sign on the actual CD itself, which is weird because that means you can’t display it or even play it if you want to. Bought the album because you wanted to play it in your car? Sorry, SKZ say no. I’m not sure why they do it, I thought it was a JYP thing but literally all other JYP artists sign on the front of their albums so I have no idea. Anyway, because this was an Mwave release it was a random member sign, and I got Woojin. The original PCs I got with it were Hyunjin, Minho & Seungmin but I traded them all for Changbin bc my heart is fat for him & that’s that on that.

Now if you’re wondering…Chloe. Why is there a GOT7 album in all of your signed album posts, and why is there 3 in this post?

It’s because I love GOT7, ok.

I went overboard with these ones because basically…there were about 5 on sale and I couldn’t decide which version I liked best so…I bought 3 instead of 1. Do I regret it? No. Would I do it again in future? Yes. So have I learned my lesson? Probably not.

I really love these albums, like I said before in this post (and earlier on in this post, even), JYP have the best album designs. I really prefer the rectangular booklet-type albums over the square boxes and GOT7 always come through with their designs, they’re perfect. The concepts for 7 For 7 are so beautiful (hence why you know…I bought 3) and I just really love everything about them. Like I’ll say (probably until the end of time) when it comes to album designs…GOT7 and JYP are doing it right. Plus, one of my all time favourite GOT7 songs – Moon U, was birthed from this album – it was worth buying all 3 just for that alone.

Also, apologies in advance for the lack of pictures of these ones, I couldn’t be bothered to take them all out of the packet, flip through them and take pictures of the signatures in each one (so I’m going to use the seller’s pictures instead because I’m lazy).

Anyway…

I bought the Golden Hour, Magic Hour & Starry Hour versions. There are 4 versions of this album but I didn’t like the Cozy Hour version so I just bought the 3 instead. I actually got really coincidentally lucky with these (and didn’t realise) because each album comes with a little member booklet inside and I got my top 3 members and didn’t even know until I opened them, so I must have done something good that day since the universe was definitely on my side. I got a BamBam, Yugyeom and Jackson booklet – can I remember which booklet corresponds to which album? No, because I was too lazy to take them out of the packets to check, so unfortunately you’re just going to have to take my word.

I own 6 signed GOT7 albums now and don’t plan on buying any of their other albums at the minute (until they bring out some new stuff) so this will probably be the last lot of GOT7 for a while now! My bank account is cheering.

Hope you enjoyed this loves, I’m thinking of posting maybe one Kpop signed album haul a month just to break it up a bit?? I have a lot to get through since I keep buying them (and need to stop) but I think one post a month is okay, considering I’ll probably be posting other Kpop-related stuff on top of that as well since it’s the only thing I talk about these days. I wasn’t kidding when I said I’d fallen down the rabbit hole. Is there therapy for this stuff?
