Kpop Pin Collection 2019 πŸ’«

Hello hello hello and…hello.

The title of this post sounds so nerdy I’m freaking out a little but on the other hand I have to get over it and realise that this is simply just me. Existential crisis over.

Since I’m now what you’d call…a Kpop collector (?? am I) I thought it would be a good idea to do yearly round up posts of what I have at the end of each year, just to keep a little log for myself of what I got and when, so I can see how the collection has grown and all that good stuff.

I might do this with albums too but for now I’m just starting off with pins, some of you may not find this interesting because you might not like Kpop…or pins, but either way they’re all so beautiful that even if you’re not interested in Kpop or pins, you can still appreciate the beauty in them all the same. These of course aren’t official merch items, they’re fan-made (and incredible) – I have so many that it’d take me forever to find all my receipts however if you’d like to know where any specific pins are from please let me know and I shall dive into the archives for you and have a look! Also some of these may no longer be in production since artists are always switching up their content and don’t always continue re-making sets of pins if they have new designs in the works etc. so, I’m not sure if all of these are still being made anymore (fingers crossed they are).

Like I said, I have too many pins so I’m going to split them up into sections to break it down a bit – all of these minus 3 are BTS pins (yes, roll your eyes) but they kind of fit into little categories so, I’ll go through each one by one.

And there we have it loves! I only started buying pins in July this year so I feel like I’ve done a pretty good job with everything I have so far. I definitely willΒ notΒ be going as hard this year because the concept of space is unfortunately a thing and well kids, I’m running out.

      1. I really loved prince tae and prince joon pins. Oh and also, the beret tae, save me pin, the moonchild pin. Also those butterflies, gosh they’re really cute and also the light bulb pin. Honestly, everything was just so cute. You’re making me wanna start my own pin collections. Though I should not πŸ˜…

  14. These pins are beautiful! I’m amazed at the variety of Kpop items out there! My girls got throw pillows for Christmas with their favorite Kpop artists on the front. And they got jewelry with the names and birthdays of their favorites. It’s awesome there’s so much out there to collect!

      1. My oldest a pillow with Minhyuk from Monsta X. One twin got Suga and the other got Woojin from Start Kids. Those are the same biases they got jewelry for. They were super excited! We managed to get tickets for Stray Kids’ tour next month as well so it was a good Christmas. They are stoked.

          1. Oh, I hope you get to go too! We saw them in May and it was awesome! MY girls each have favorite groups, so one loves BTS the most, another one is obsessed with ATEEZ (it used to be Monsta X but her heart got broken when Wonho had to leave), and then the other one is a die hard Stray Kids fan. So she’s been watching all the fan chant videos in preparation for the concert. I think she’s studying harder for the concert than she does for school, lol.
            (No worries, though. She’s a good student!)

                My bias in Ateez is Yunho. He makes me laugh. But Yeosang bias wrecks me bad, lol.

                Is Tae your bias in BTS? Who’s your favorite in Stray Kids?

                    Her favorite from BTS is Tae, also. But Felix is her Stray Kids bias. J-Hope and Chan are my favs, respectively.

                    My BTS kid loves Yoongi. My Stray Kids kiddo loved Woojin. She’s really missing him. 😭

                    Changbin cracks me up. He came across so tough and β€œdark” on the survival show but he’s really just a big softie at heart and so, so funny!

                      chan is my second favourite after changbin so i definitely get that one, he’s one of the best leaders i’ve seen! such a genuinely nice guy too, it’s really refreshing to see.

                      changbin from a distance looks like this really intimidating, fierce rapper and then upon actually getting to hear him speak and see his antics…he’s just a giant baby that wants lots of love 😭 he’s so funny, his laugh is one of my favourite things ever

                      woojin is still a fresh wound for a lot of people:( i’m sorry to hear your girly is missing him, i’m sure he’s in good hands though. whether he wants to come back to the industry or not no one knows yet, but i trust that he’ll do what’s right for him when he’s ready, i guess all we can do until then is wait. that time period was so difficult in kpop, i felt like i lost 3 of my favourite people all in one go – hanbin, woojin, wonho. i hope 2020 is a much better year for all of us in that respect .xx

                    2. We are just now watching more Ateez videos of them interacting together so we are getting to know them better. I just love the dynamic between all of them. It reminds me a lot of why I fell in love with the Stray Kids boys. They all just genuinely seem like such good, caring kids.

                      I love Chan for that very reason. Stray Kids was the first Kpop group we started following. We watched the survival show a couple months after it actually aired. I was so impressed with the way he cared about the members, how hard he worked to keep them all together.

                      I absolutely agree with you on Changbin!

                      The hardest part about Woojin is the not knowing what happened and what he’s doing now. It just makes us so sad not understanding why he has to leave. I know we are hoping he finds a new group or goes solo.

I got into ATEEZ not long after they debuted because I’d been seeing their faces around a lot but hadn’t taken the time to actually look into them yet, but there was something about them that was just so intriguing to me. Their visuals and dynamic were so unique it really caught my eye and one day when I had some time I decided to start watching their reality show and I was absolutely hooked, they’re so fun. The rate at which they’ve grown really attests to how great they are as a group.

                      With Woojin I’m not sure if we’ll ever know what happened, but at the same time I guess it’s not our right to unless it’s something he chooses to share with us himself when he’s ready, it just all seemed very sudden and left everybody so confused. I think the worst part was Chan taking the blame and saying that he was sorry he couldn’t keep them all together as a 9, that really broke my heart. I hope Woojin will come back when he’s ready, if of course that’s the direction he still wants to take himself in – who knows, he may have decided the idol life just wasn’t for him .xx
