2021

Here’s some writing / thinking I did this morning. I have blurred some parts out for obvious reasons and yes my writing is incredibly messy. I hope it makes it harder to read.

Here’s to 2021.

I love last year reflections and setting intentions for the new year. I haven’t done the reflection this year, but I set my goals for the new year. I hope 2021 is good for you! Really enjoyed reading your answers.

Thank you! Me too. I think I’m going to make a conscious effort to do this at the beginning of every year from now on because it was quite helpful & therapeutic! I hope 2021 is good to you too, sending lots of light ✨x

What a sweet, vulnerable and intimate post Chloe. It was a pleasure to be allowed a glimpse into your mindset, even for a while. You are more deeply loved, known and seen than you could ever begin to imagine. In fact, I remember exactly when I came across your beautiful blog. It was two years ago while I was on holiday in this little cabin in the woods. I read your letter to your dearly departed best friend and found myself incredibly touched. It’s been a pleasure to be on this blogging journey with you and witness all the moments in between. I hope you will find a lasting happiness that soars above all the crap in life. I know it’s there for you x

These are all such important questions to ask. Where did/do you get your journal prompts from?
I think that 2020 was such an important year that it is equally as important to reflect back on it. If someone asked me how 2020 was for me, I would immediately think of all these negative words but actually, that is not completely true. Yes 2020 was horrible and I never want to relive it, especially all the suffering and deaths, but it was also a year that taught a lot of lessons. It showed many people what is important in life and what they actually want and need to be happy. It showed how important it is to look out for one another and to sacrifice for the better good. In that same respect it also showed the true colours of some people who I would personally prefer not to have in my life.
Also cannot believe that you have read 92 books this year! That is crazy!! Please tell me you did not have a full-time job this year because otherwise I seriously need to reflect on how I am spending my free time!!! xx

I wrote it at the top! We’re Not Really Strangers – their prompts and writings are really intimate and thought provoking, I love everything they do. Completely agree with everything you said, 2020 taught
us…so many things. I’m so glad it showed you the true colours of some people, I hope you’ve managed to leave them in 2020 as you only deserve positive, supportive people in your life ✨ if it’s any consolation it was actually 91 books not 92 hahah, clearly I got a little confused there. I was working a full time job at
the same time though yes! I’m not sure how I did it either…let’s see if I can keep it up for 2021! xxx

I loved reading this, Chlo. The journal pages and your handwriting created such an intimate and raw atmosphere, almost like I was reflecting on the past year with you. The questions you asked yourself are sublime; They dig deep yet don’t forget the little things. I have found that those little things and small accomplishments are so important to honor as well. Often, the smallest things can bring us the most joy or teach us the most.

All I can really say is – I am so proud of you! From what you wrote, it seems like you really found an inner peace and love for yourself. That makes me so happy ❀︎ Watching you learn and grow through your blog these past years has been such a pleasure and inspiration!

This year has been challenging for sure, but I think it forced all of us to spend time with ourselves and reflect on who we are, what/who makes us happy and what is important to us. Truly wishing you all the best for this year, Chlo. Also, this is random but I LOVE your g’s and y’s hahahaha xx

Thank you so much Fiona πŸ’ž your words truly mean the world to me as always. 2020 was such a progressive year for me in lots of ways, I may talk about them one day when / if I ever feel comfortable but I don’t give myself enough credit for how much I did actually achieve and so doing this little journey entry really allowed me to just sit back for a moment and think wow, actually Chlo, you did something you thought you’d never manage in a million years. Give yourself a pat on the back.

I love the little journeys we’ve both been on with our blogs and I’m so happy and grateful to have been able to follow you on yours for all these years – I’m excited to see what 2021 has in store for you and to watch it all unfold! Sending you so much love and light as always Fiona ✨ also, my Gs & Ys are a PAIN hahaha, I’m forever running out of room on the lines underneath because the tails are just so big !! xxx
