my goodreads 2020 wrap-up

Hello my loves,

Like Spotify, Goodreads also do yearly wrap-ups! I thought it was only right that I also do a post for these too since I share my Spotify ones each year, even though this one is now…2 months too late. Let’s go.

Holy moly, 91 books?! Congratulations! I do not envy having to read 576 pages of the book I hate, haha. Especially since I tend to stick it out with all my books and can’t abandon it once I start it.

Do you have a “theme” for 2021? I binged a lot of memoirs last year and this year, I think I want to focus on horror and young adult again.

Thank you so much! I still don’t know how I dragged myself through that book haha, cons of being someone who finds it hard to DNF books! I do have a theme actually! I want to read more translated work, specifically Asian literature. Horror sounds good!

Wow what a bunch of amazing books! I must say that I’m very pleased to see Harry Potter on the list, as they’re definitely on my list of goodreads too. I really love books where you get sucked into a universe that’s just so well made. If I were to purchase let’s say 3 books here and now, and I love everything from Normal People to Harry Potter, which ones would you recommend? Such a great post Chloe xx
