1 YEAR OF BLOGGING – HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIDNIGHT WANDER!

Hi loves,

Today is officially my blog’s birthday!! Exactly one year ago today I made my first post here!

I used to have a blog with my friend but that died out after a few months and afterwards I really wanted to start something for myself because I loved and missing blogging, so after a few (long) months of umming and aahing, Midnight Wander was born! Creating this blog has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you – I’ve met some incredible people through doing this and I’m so grateful for all the love and support you guys give me, just like I (hope) I give to you.

I don’t really know what to say in this post other than I cannot believe I’ve been doing this for a year now, thank you all for welcoming me with open arms and allowing me to become a part of your community because I really do feel like I belong here and that in itself is such a lovely feeling. Maybe this post can just be a space for a general chit chat or if there’s any questions you guys want to ask me then please feel free – I try to share as much about myself / my life as possible with you all but if there is anything else you’d like to know then don’t be afraid to ask!

Here’s to many more years of blogging and hopefully I get to meet some of you at some point in the future – I really want to continue to grow this blog as a creative space and somewhere people can come to talk and feel inspired – what kind of things would you guys like to see here in future? If you have any post requests / ideas that you’d like to see then please let me know!

I love you all very much and I cannot believe the little community we’ve managed to grow and create here in literally just one year – nearly 1000 of you! I appreciate you all so much and thank you for reading my posts and commenting on them and generally just showing them so much love over the past year, it really means a lot that people actually take time out of their day to read and (hopefully) enjoy my words – I didn’t want to do a one year post recap because talking about myself this much in a post already has me hella uncomfortable so click here to see my top 10 favourite posts that I wrote in 2017.

I also can’t believe I’ve managed to post pretty much 3 times a week, every week, for a whole year. That’s an achievement in itself! *pats self on back*
